Freedom From Perfection and Control

Graceful Living

Living life is not about doing everything right all the time.

It’s about getting back up when we fall. We learn to let go of perfection and control.

Life is about connecting, problem solving, adventures, forgiveness, and overcoming. There is love, hate, anger, resentment, understanding, and confusion. It’s in this craziness that we learn to serve and die to selfishness.

In our messy self we find a dance to dance too, sing a song that we can hum too, and learn to appreciate each other.

For every moment of frustration there are a thousand more moments of joy.

It’s A New Day

Each morning when we wake up it’s a new day to give, encourage, and praise. With a thankful heart there is nothing that can keep us from growing up in God’s amazing love.

How do we want others to remember us?

Are they going to see us with our heads down or are they going to see us standing tall with our hands raised up high?

You Are A Amazing

Every day we push through self-condemnation and we don’t give up on ourselves. We make arrangements, set goals, make lists, create space, and manage chaos. We multitask so that everyone’s needs are met.

We are pretty amazing at we do!!!

God wants us to live life from a restful place.  We do this by trusting Him and taking time to be still.

Let’s remember that our God is a good God and He has plans for us.

11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. “ Jeremiah 29:11-13 (ESV)
